I Have No Name Poem by Herbert Dry

I Have No Name

I have never seen the light of
day
I have never seen my brother and sister
play

I have never heard the sound of gentle
rain
I have never heard the song bird
sang

I have never seen the beauty of the
flowers
As they wait for April
showers

I have never seen the clouds
above
I have never felt the touch of my mother's
love

There are many things I would like to
say
But today they will take my life
away

I am among the hundreds of thousands
slain
I wonder if things will ever
change

I am one of the unborn who has no
name
