I Have Spoken Poem by Moth Harris

I Have Spoken

There's an angel in my mirror, it's cracked and broken.
Tells me there's nothing to fear, it's out in the open.
Says to love you, make that clear, be sure to have spoken,
But winter's never been this cold.

There's a lost thought in my head, and it drifts in and out.
All the things that you have said, sometimes they fill me with doubt.
Wonder if we're hanging by a thread. What's this about?
And you have never felt so warm.

There's depression hidden away, under happiness.
It sure is a sunny day, besides the loneliness.
What did my angel say again, about all of this?
To love you and to make that clear.

To love you and to make that clear. You are standing here.
I promise that you have nothing to fear, try to hear,
What I am saying so clear, but only to the mirror.
Honey, I love you, I promise.
