i heard the voice
it came to me last night
it was calming
me, it did not fright

i heard the voice
it told me whats to come
not to be afraid
soon i was going home

i heard the voice
it told me ill be fine
no more hurting
no worries, not this time

i heard the voice
it said place your trust in me
i will help you though this
wait and see

i heard the voice
soon my pain will disappear
no one will hurt me again
but i must prepare
