I’m sitting here
Thinking about us.

I can say that
We have changed a little bit.

We don’t talk to each other
Like we used to.

I’m having second thoughts
About a few things.

Right now
I’m confused.
You are the one I hope I’ll always
Stay with.

I hope you will be the one to smile at me
Knowing that you will always love me.
I hope you will be the one to hold me
Through the night.
I hope you will be the one that will always
Be here by my side.
I hope you will be the one I laugh with nonstop,
And tickling each other.
I hope you will be the one to hold my waist as we
Walk together down the mall.
I hope you will be the one I smile with and
Having a great time together.

But to be honest
Some times I don’t
Really know
If we are meant to be.

I can say that
I think
We have drifted apart some.

I hope we can get through this,
I know we can baby,
And be able to love each other.
