I Knew
Can’t you see how I cry?
Can’t you see my tears?
Or are you gunna keep pretending I’m not even here?
That you can’t hear my sobs
Or my muffled cries
That you can’t hear my tears splashing from my eyes
You say that you love me
And I say I love you to
But maybe those are just words I hoped I knew.
