I Lived My Life /For A Dream

I LIVED MY LIFE/ FOR A DREAM

I lived my life
For a dream
I could not realize.
Now I am more broken
At “the broken places”
The winds of poverty and sickness
Surround
While I still cry out
My little sounds
As if I were a ‘youngin’.
