I'Ll Admit It When I'M Alone Poem by DAVID TERRY

I'Ll Admit It When I'M Alone

I'll admit it when I'm alone and the day is done
I miss you very much
Your wit, your voice, your eyes, your touch
Messages, long talks, letters and visits
That ‘first-look' moment when you round the corner
Our walks, our chats, those times in the moon and rain
I miss you so much it hurts sometimes
Even as I know you're where you chose to go
Not with me, not for us, all to him
And me with her, walk from us, all about her
Now and then I look at your pictures
The longer goes the time the less it hurts
But I still touch the screen
Hope you somewhere feel me
I'll admit it when I'm alone forever
That I miss you very much
