You May Never Know It Poem by DAVID TERRY

You May Never Know It

You may never know it
I may never show it
And I’ll probably blow it
But I’m in love with you

I don’t know where it came from
When I was living in shame from
How I lost my good name from
The time I fell in love

I was lost and alone then
Feeling like a cold stone then
You shared your heart lone then
I fell in love with you

And so much I learned from you
Because afar I have yearned for you
Now that my heart has turned for you
Because I’m in love with you

Beautiful how you express "emptiness."
