I Remember You Poem by DAVID TERRY

I Remember You

After all this time, I still remember you
When I look east, I see your face in the sky
Your eyes in all sparkling stars
Your touch through a breeze
Your perfume on the jasmine wind
After all this time I still remember the draw of you

After all this time I still think of you
When I sit here, I still imagine all your words
How I anticipated every one
How you captivated my attention
How you speak them in sweet music
After all this time I am still in awe of these thoughts of you

After all this time I still long for you
When I am alone, I still dream of your touch
The electric touch of your skin against mine
The depth of your eyes locked to mine
The feel of our hearts beating next to each other
After all this time I still long for your touch

After all this time I still love you
When the night has fallen and sleep is to come
I still remember how you drew my heart
I still remember how you sang to me love
I still remember loving you in body and more
After all this time I am still in love with you
