If I lost my job and self respect,
with you by my side I'd be alright.
If we lost our house and our cars,
with you by my side I'd be alright.
If I was terminally ill,
with you by my side I'd be alright.
When death is finally knocking upon my door,
if your by my side I'd be alright.
For your love has left a hand print upon my soul,
that will last an eternity,
And because you love me,
I know I'll be alright.
