I'Ll Be The One - Poem by Piscine Kipling

I'll be the one, to tell you babe, that you ain't crazy, and its not in your head
And if you want to go, I'll remind you of why, you should stay with me for a while

I'll be the one, that cheers you up inside, if your rifted by the alienation of life
That takes away your hope that maybe this world isn't just what you see with your eyes

I'll be the one, to tell you that you and I, are not just passerbys in the unfolding
of events that leads our minds to lies, as well as breaking our souls, leaving us cold

I'll be the one that tells you that you're wrong, when you say that I am lying all along,
And all that I said are fantasies of desperation, and to your situation I have no relation

I'll be the one to tell you brighter days will come in time, even though you know that I
Do not know this myself, and I'll say it again, even if babe you don't believe in what I said

I'll be the one that watches you break down, with tears in your eyes and a broken frown
But I won't turn my head and look away, why would I when your sadness is a reason I stayed

I'll be the one that lies with you here, on this bed that we've made special and dear
And I hope tomorrow we will awake, and all of these forlorn feelings will go away

I'll be the one that won't hesitate to hear, all of your honesty that you have inside yourself
Even about the bitter qualities I have, and I'll then tell you how I will try to improve myself

I'll be the one that knows your next words, so don't choose them carefully because I won't care
If your being judgemental, because you know babe that its your character I'll always treasure

I'll be the one, to give you a gun, if you want to blow out your mind, despite my pleas
That beg you to stop, and tell you all, these reasons why I can't let you die and leave
