I'Ll Live A Vagabond Poem by Naima khlifi

I'Ll Live A Vagabond

I'm a dead body delivered by the sea
Under the sands..a strange thing like burners
'lifeless ''
No trail for my being alive except
moan
And forgotten boats on the point of perching
on my strides...with no tenderness
I'm like an inflexible spectrum
Two compasses are my eyes
going to the back
and two brooms are my feet
having my dream wasted behind
funerals night
As a hunter of passion
I'm chased by the moon
which 's complying to blackness.
Apologetically
I'm just a curio for passers
It may not so long last
My story with eeriness
It may not outrage my story at madness
I'll live a vagabond as an expatriate
that invoked neither a memory of north
nor south
by the night are eyes imprisoned
playing with it as a red cinder
Raping freshness
Despite all stillness
I'll return back to the country which
they robbed me through the years
I'll struggle against the universe without spears
without knives
And I'll open the door which
they had closed
And on my hand I'll built
my lovely realm
I' ve got no crown except my poem
and flowers
I' ve got no age but only love
and existence
I'm not from nothingness
to lurk in foreignness
like Sindibad
I'm a shingle not
knowing its trend

Dear Poet, the theme itself is wonderful.i am sure, the english version is translated by someone. good. but, i request you to learn english language and literature so that you can be yourself in your lines. any expert translation would have its limitations, as the soul is different. i hope you understand this, and agree with me. now, your poem is really engaging. highly passionate and sensible too. ' I' ve got no crown except my poem and flowers I' ve got no age but only love and existence..' WONDERFUL. God Bless.
