You're everything that I've wanted to be
Loved by many, cherished by He
You're everything that I'll never be
The free bird that flies over a many a seas

You're everything that I've lacked in me
Absent in beauty, mind incomplete
You're everything that tempts me to see
That to end my life will somehow set me free

You're everything that I once held dear
The radiant light that draws breath from despair
You're everything that cuts me deep
Begging for mercy, death doth I weep

You're everything that I want to be
Dancing in light, joyous, complete
You're everything that I long in me now
A dying bird, slowly I drown
