I'Ll Never Get To Know Poem by Audrey Heller

Just recently, I saw a man who looked
just like you! For a moment, I was taken
aback and didn't know, what to do. I
wanted to go over and talk to him, but
thought, what would he think of me? So
many things went through my mind, so
I just let it be. They say everyone, has
a double and it's so very true! When I
saw him, my heart skipped a beat and
if I didn't know any better, I was looking
straight at you! A million thoughts went
through my mind. Could this man, have
been related to you, in some way? Maybe
a distant cousin, I never met, whose path
crossed with mine, that day. I have no
answers, but when I saw him, I felt a warm
and happy glow, to think somewhere out
there, is someone, I'll never get to know!
