My tears keep falling
Like the rain
My heart is hurting
With so much pain

I can't believe
That it's true
That I'll never again
Get to be with you

The last time I saw you
Is burned into my mind
When I'm feeling lonely
That's the memory I find

I saw your welcoming smile
As you walked toward me
I would always smile back
You see to my heart you held the key

I didn't take you for granted
That's something I'd never do
But the furthest thing from my mind
Was that I would lose you
