I Love My People From The Hole Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Love My People From The Hole

I love my people from the hole,
With all my heart, with all my soul.
I love my people from the island of Haiti.
I love my people from the Mother Land,
From the beautiful continent of Africa.
I love my people from the gentle sand
Of San Salvador, a wonderful country,
Located in gorgeous Central America.

The past weeks, my people and I have cried together.
We were insulted, and marginalized. We had anger,
Pain, resentment, disgust, and deception in our hearts.
Now, we are feeling much better, we will do our parts,
To gradually utter a response to the narcissistic devil.
We are stronger than ever. We will remain very civil.
We will stay calm, keep our composure and be ready,
To fight the lowlife, who lacks compassion and decency.

We love our brothers and sisters from the golden dirt of Haiti.
We love our brothers and sisters from the diamond mines of Africa.
We love our brothers and sisters from the divine land of San Salvador.
We are no longer hurt; we are ready to work hard to settle the score.
We're forever united with other sister countries, in the Caribbean Sea,
In Central and South America, and from the north, which sympathize with us.
We will be fine. We are resilient, brave, and strong, because we have Jesus.
