I Love The Way That You Smile. Poem by Dakota Ellerton

I Love The Way That You Smile.

A mask,
a different face.
She’s placed her fingers,
in the spaces unfilled in mine.
I would show my woman to the world.
In this persona, or any other.
I’d remove any mask,
to be with her.
What she needs,
I’d strive to reach.
She wants a drink
I’d go to the store.
She wants a dalmation,
I’d build a doghouse.
She gets hungry,
I’d prepare her favorite meal.
She comes home tired,
I’d have a bath with vanilla candles waiting.
She gets frustrated,
I’d give her a massage.
She wants me,
I’d buy her a ring.
How romantic,
is a new relationship?
Both reaching for eachother.
This is our first image,
we’ll imprint.
I’ll look at you,
like this as long as I know you dear.
And you look,
absolutley stunning.
