I Love Trumpets Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

I Love Trumpets

Are you up tonight?
I think you wait for a miracle
If it came would you accept it?
I don't think so

The meek and gentle need love
World tomorrow is a hard sell
Do you believe in preserved bodies
I seen one in Rome
In a catacomb just laying there
Waiting for the trumpet

Do bad girls hear trumpets
I am from both sides my dear
You can be a woman with me
I love trumpets
