I Love When My Wife Lies Poem by Billy Thompson

I Love When My Wife Lies

Rating: 4.5

I love it when my wife lies
Normally that's something I despise
Lying shows how much she loves me
Lies of poetry flowing free

Lying to gain favor is wrong
Her lies sound like a sensuous song
When I get restless and want to roam
She lies just to keep me home

Lies about checking my pockets are a bet
After seeing my wallet all soggy and wet
That kind of lie really gets me going
Yet without her lies life would be boring

Without a lie to spice it up
Claiming she didn't drink from my coffee cup
My wife lies about reading it in a book
Just to get me to take another look

Having the exact same desires as I
Are another indicator of a lie
Truly she will lie about anything
Except why she wears that wedding ring

I guess I've seen it all now. Lies that are the truth. I love your poem of lies, its the truth. Really, no lie. Seriously, tis a very uniquely creative piece of work.
