I Love You - Poem by Satyam Kumar Tiwari

She is my friend
I'm taking her somewhere today
Thinking about
Cafe Coffee Day

But why
I am taking her out today
Because today is
Her birthday

Should I give her
Ring or rose
Because I am also
Going to propose

Will she say
Yes or No
What will Happen
I don't know

She said
She will wear pink
What should I wear
I have to think

Should I wear
Pink or blue or Red, I thought
Or I should wear
Black suit with white dot

I made it with
Grey suit
with a pair of
black boot

I hurried a little
And went to Cafe Coffee Day
Where we were going
to celebrate her day

I reached there
Fifteen minutes early
And started to
Wait for her eagerly

Soon, she came
Dressed in pink
Looking so beautiful
I could ever think

In a moment
she was hugged
And I started to remember
the lines I had mugged

Because of nervousness
I forgot everything
Now, I was unable to utter
Not a single word, Nothing

Till time the waiter came
and asked questions a few
Like-what will you take
Cape-chino, nescafe or bru

She replied that
she will take bru
I also replied
Same for me too

I hold her hand
and brought her close
Looked into her eyes
and gave her the rose

With little courage
I told her 'I Love You'
And asked the question
'Do you? '

She became red (with shy)
and was unable to think, what to do
I eagerly waited for the answer
'I love you too'
