I loved you before you were born and
I looked forward to the day you arrived.
I was the happiest Mother
In the whole wide world and
You were my precious child!

Many years have passed since then,
Yet I love you even more.
A lot has happened to try and tear us apart.
But I know we’ll find time for

Days and nights of togetherness and
Being a family, once again.
When we all work together
We’ll build a world
Full of happiness and friends.

I thank God, He gave me you and
I know true joy
When you say you’re thankful, too!
