the sky sends down it's tears
stinging pleasure on my skin
my heart does wrench
and i vent my own rain

i did this, no one else
though he knew what to do
i am so dirty, ugly
can you see me, please don't try

a shiver and i feel alive
as pain runs through my brain
like electric shock
on Halloween day

you made me do this
with your eyes
and soft spoken words
you did not know; how could you?
i never said a word.

but words are never needed
when taking someone's heart
just smiles and lies
and surreptitious notes

i'd call you
but i don't really know what to say
never thought it'd go this way
quite typical of me

i love you
i think
i wish i knew
but you never gave me the choice

just took me heart between your lips
and held on for dear life
now i'm stuck here
waiting for the day
that the monster will emerge
and throw me to the floor

i bet you didn't think it would end like this either
or else you wouldn't have done it
but you never knew
and that was my fault

now watch me fall apart
i died inside
despite the tears
falling from your eyes
maybe that's why
i'm not whole inside
your rain washed me away
