I Love You No More

Rating: 4.5

Yes for sure you took my breath away
The very day I set my eyes upon you
Butterflies in my stomach controlled not,
Signal of something strong within me
All that in vain for I love you no more

Yes for sure I had sleepless nights
The temperature inside of me rising
For i wanted you to know this secret
Friends! ooh no! that i wont settle for
All that in vain for I love you no more

Yes for sure, I finally did it
Tell you my side of the story
MOst satisfactory was my wholesome heart
So proud that for my goal i achieved
All that in vain for I love you no more

Yes for sure, I never expected it
shutters in my heart I could feel
This monster called change proved its constantability,
MY ooh my! what I felt when you took the flight,
All that in vain for i love you no more

Yes for sure, the storm is past now
No grudges, but wishes for a good life
No more can i hurt in wait for you
I strive to be a free spirity for my sake
All that in vain for I love you no more

Love is a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly. It can be whimsical and temperamental, coming unannounced and may leave without warning, especially when it is not carefully nurtured by both couples. A well articulated piece of poetry portraying resolve to jettison vain glorification of beauty, occasioned by distress in bliss of love. A good one indeed. Thanks for sharing Paul.
