I Love You So Poem by Cherry Blossom

I Love You So

I'm letting go.
you said that with a straight face and your things are already packed.
You were everything I ever wanted but it seems like time has declined.
Destiny was bust at the time that it forgot we weren't meant to be together.
You said I was the one but your action spoke louder and contradicted.
I spent my times selfishly, spending it on a bottle of gin, drinking my life away, I found myself at rock bottom.
I wasn't prepared to hear those words.
Those words that got stuck inside my head and played on repeat.
Those words you left grew and grew until it turned into a monster, a shadow of the past I can't forget and run away from.
You left me with a smile on your face yet I was crumbling.
"I Love You, so I'm letting go."
