Stars Poem by Cherry Blossom

Stars

As I pondered through the night weak and weary, I remembered your warm embrace despite the midnight air being cold and dreary.
The somber eventide heavens were full of flickering stars that reminded me of your once glimmering eyes that looked at me in a way no one ever did; I have met lot of eyes but I got lost in yours.
The lone light post standing in the never-ending darkness giving off its own flickering light that outshined the stars, as I stood below the light post I could hear it's the never-ending hum buzz of its light that reminded me of your whispers that tormented me every night.
We used to spend our time together under the somber eventide surrounded by the blinding city lights and the cold evening breeze where I lost you.
I lost you under the somber eventide while we were surrounded by the blinding city lights and the cold evening breeze, my hands were warm due to your bloom that was gushing out of your body.
You died lying in my arms that night, as the light behind your eyes slowly faded.
I used to love the night time, well not any more, since you're not here.
