I Lye In Defeat, You Win Poem by Sara Hol

I Lye In Defeat, You Win

Rating: 5.0

Your consistent lies are ripping me apart
I fight the internal battle
as your words leave a hole in my heart.

Each broken promise, and diligent lie
only left anger and a deep hatred
as I suppress my urge to cry.

Your always the victim in every situation
yet you cause the pain everyone reaps,
You search for the love that you have sucked dry
while everyone lyes motionless at your feet.

Your criticism and verbal assaults
have finally broken me down,
I lye in defeat, void of emotion
my broken mentality far from being safe and sound.

You win.
