I'M A Tired Traveller.... - Poem by Ranjini Mohan

The evening sky
is slate gray
Is it sad
or is it angry?
I’m a tired traveller
in search of some light
I wander through the graveyards of time!
Flowers of memories
grow wild on the ground
Mild scents waft through the mist
Long purple shadows merge
with mine
A small flicker!
A ray of hope
Does anyone live in a graveyard?
Doesn't the light come from my own heart?
I ….. a tired traveller
in search of some light
