I'M Free Poem by Sally Minns

I'M Free

i looked up and saw the sky crying with me today
its tears where as big as mine
it rored in its anger and sadness
it must have know my pain
i sang out to the gods
'Take me away from this world i live
'Pureafy my soul and mind
'I just want to be free of this body
'Tonight'
i saw its anger when the lighting strikes
The wind wispered in my ear
Go far away from here
I just stood there
And cryed for my life
I screamed into the night
'Take away the pain
'Take away the fright
'Let me be free of these chains
'let me be free like the Satrs
'in the middle of the night'
When Im far away Ill lay ny head down
on a pillow made of silk
Ill let the rain wash over me
And make me one with the earth
I will fianly be free
Yet lost the things i love
I look up once again
with the tears falling down my face
'I will be the wind the lighting and the stars
'The rain will be my tears
'As the lighting will show your fears
'Just lay me down'
I send my wisper in the wind
As i rest my head on the grass
I close my eyes
I am no more for the storm has passed
I travle with it with no body
You will see you are better off with me free
I shell rest Forever underneath your heart
'I'm Free'
