I'M Letting Go Of You Dad - Poem by Jade Reese

I hate it when your not around to pick me up when i am down
I hate it when your are around u pick me up then throw me down
The way you act isn't very cunning
Cause all you do is just keep running
You make me mad
And extremely sad
I'm letting go of my thoughts of you
When you want me you know what to do.

Strong, thought provoking words. I really liked the way you have portrayed this difficult subject. The change in meaning of the words in the first two lines is so clever. (Report)Reply
