I'm Looking For Blooms Poem by Marilyn Lott

I'm Looking For Blooms

As I walk along the tree line
I check so carefully
Study the tips of branches
But there is nothing to see.

I noticed that the Primroses
Have bloomed all winter long
Of all my many flowers
They are most resilient and strong.

I know we are amidst winter
So cold in many states
Which one would be the coldest?
I'm sure there are many debates.

But I am from the North West
Our weather is quite mild
So I look for tiny little buds
I suppose I am acting like a child.

Okay, I know time goes fast
I guess I must assume
It is simply still too early
To find sweet lovely blooms!
