I'M Moving On Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

I'M Moving On

Every woman in America wanted you
I don't know why I pick the wrong men to love
Young, dumb, naive, when I dated the few
a house, couple kids, and be married, is all this woman speaks of
A man to makes me feel beautiful and all the above
I knew you were mine up until I came across that text in your phone
There is no love that lives here, when you tug my heart along, it's tough
I just want to be alone, baby, I deserve better. I'm moving on.
