I'm Only Passing By; Poem by Driss Ezzireg

I'm Only Passing By;

I‘m only passing by.
Don't worry.
I won't be long.
I'll hurry.
The village is still far.
And night is falling blind
And my sorrows I'll have to bind
My peace of mind I'll have to find
For a while beside you.
I'm only passing by.
It's just that I've missed you.
Your smile and your voice
They refuse to fade away
And your soul still insists
I should have it my own way.
I'm only passing by
But here I have to say
There's no other way
But to love you till my last day
And faithful to you I'll stay
When we meet again
In beautiful heaven.
