I'M The One To Blame Poem by Payyton Egerstaffer

I'M The One To Blame

I screamed your name
As you walked away
I knew I was the one to blame
But I still wanted you to stay

I waited
As I couldn’t help but want you back
But you just kept fading
Even though I was bruised from every smack

You are my dad
And I love you so
But this makes me sad
Because I have to let you go

letting go would break us...but sometimes its the best thing to do for us to fly.
