I'M The Saint Of Sinners Poem by Dakota Ellerton

I'M The Saint Of Sinners

I open my eyes, as if for the first time
where am I?
this looks so familiar
a dark place, with a williow tree drapping over me
a creek running by me
I don't see anyone else
when I look in the creek
I see the moons reflection
I look up to get a glimps of her
but I see something suspended from the tree
I walk towards it
it appears to be a girl
I grab and spin her body
it smells like she's been here awhile
I dropp to my knee's
as the tears become endless
I know where I am now
I know what I've done
I know this girl
I am her, she is me.
