I Measured The Sea With A Thimble Poem by Bullion Grey

I Measured The Sea With A Thimble

Rating: 4.2

I measured the sea with a thimble,
tied water into a knot,
and put wind in a box,
froze smoke in my freezer;
stored sunlight in a paper bag,
captured sound in a jar
and saved life in my piggy bank....

This poem makes me think about how we live our lives in such small spaces coveting and hoarding insignificant things, when we have been given the entire universe!
