Everyone makes mistakes
Seems that I make more than most
But my love for you is not fake
I swear on the father, son, and holy ghost

I broke a promise and hurt you
I made it hard for you to trust me
Made you despise me a little too
But I hope my actions will make you see

I care about you more than you’ll ever know
So I need to stop doing stupid things
In order to let my true feelings show
And let you hear the song of my heart strings

I am truly sorry for what I did
I will make it up to you
And behave like a man, not a kid
Just please know that I love you
