On Your Floor Poem by Logan Ackerley

On Your Floor

I'm here whenever you need me.
I would never turn you away.
You leave me crumpled on the floor,
Soaking wet for at least three days.

You use me when you are in need.
You're gone when I must be picked up.
I guess I am replaceable
I'll just be a bed for the pup.

You finally get back from fun
You choose to ignore me some more.
You have always been my whole world
But I'm just a towel on your floor.
