I Miss You - Poem by rio monica canlas
Already I’m missin’ you
Before you left, but what can I do?
I can’t help myself from feelin’ so blue
Though I know I will still be seeing you,
It’s just that, I don’t know how to get thru
Those remaining days without you…
It’s been a week since you’ve been away,
Never heard a single word from you,
But I guess you’re enjoying your stay
Back in her arms, it seems you’re more than ok.
I’m trying to ignore what I’m feelin’
But it’s hard to be pretendin’,
When “I miss you” is what my heart is shoutin’
And all I can do is to wait, ‘till I hear you’re voice teasing me again.
Now I’m turning indigo
Boredom as I’ve got nothing to do,
Waiting for my phone to ring
Waiting that it is you, I will hear.
I miss you, I miss you and I miss you,
These words rules since the last time I saw you…
Never thought I’d be feelin’ this,
But still, I wish,
May you have a great vacation!
And savor each day while you are home.
I miss you, I really do.
I miss you’re voice,
I miss our chitchat,
I miss your presence,
I miss you, I miss you, I miss you.
Looking forward to that day, you, standing in front of me again,
Teasing me, teasing you
And I promise now, I’d go out with you,
Because I terribly miss you!
