I Miss You Poem by Kimberly Lindsey

When you kissed me, and walked away,
I was so sad, thought my heart would break.
I looked up as you were leaving,
And I already missed you, my heart ached.

I miss you, this is not fair.
I want you with me every day.
December is not that long,
And yet, it is forever.

I will be counting the days,
Till I can see you again.
And when I do, I will be ecstatic.
And when you leave me, I will cry.

And one day, you will no longer leave,
We will be together, forever more.
That day, can’t come too soon.
What a happy day that will be!
