I Miss You Poem by King Kong

I Miss You

I miss you
'Missing You' is no more sweet as it was at college-days, now it pains a lot
Not only the body & limbs, but also the soul inside wants to feel you
The emptiness around me compels me to find you inside me
I find you within my existence
‘Finding You’ makes me miss your touch and smell, I keep missing ‘your’ smell, badly
Finally my arms touch each other and then realize you are not there
I miss you

I miss you
At times my heart, getting tired by endless beating, looks around for a safe shelter
Then I feel the strange connection with you, two lives are bonded with such an intensity
The tired heart finds the shelter, destination, peaceful home
My heart is very safe with you, very safe, after the lifelong search for tranquility
The restlessness of the heart is surrendered to you completely, the injured life is also safe in your hands
But my calm heart keeps finding ‘That’ heart-beat, every moment
Finally chest realizes your face is not hidden in it and feel the emptiness
I miss you

I miss you
At times my eyes look around for 'That' beautiful face, cuddly hair
Closing my eyes I can see the face I trust even more than them
Closing my eyes I can see you, your innocence, your love, pain, emotions
Closing my eyes I play with your hair, cuddle them, get lost in them
The strong will of touching them suddenly wakes me up, I lose everything, lovely hair, sweet curve on your forehead
Finally my eyes feel the emptiness and also feel the drop of tears at the edge
I miss you my baby

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The accumulation of pain spills over the edge of heart and that emotion becomes my poetry. This is my first poetry.

sometimes poets confuse me a bit with their names. i was attracted to the name King Kong...male. then i read I Miss You by Marlyn Dori. to me Marlyn sounds like a female. oops! i'm thinking of marilyn monroe. but, what is in a name? ....so some say. i've heard of a male in u.s.a. named marlon. i seem to be getting off the track of the poem. yes, it seems that the poet misses someone a great deal. though i do not follow everything he is writing, partly perhaps due to his less-than-mine experience with english, i DO get that he MISSES! her/him. i just reread the poem and am wondering if my baby is meant to refer to a girlfriend/wife/lover/boyfriend OR if it refers to a real BABY. perhaps the speaker had a baby while in college and it died or was given up to someone else? ? ? ? there is some evidence in the poem to support my thoughts. take a look. do you agree? i don't understand the line....: Closing my eyes I can see the face I trust even more than them.....what is meant by them? ? ? but i especially enjoyed the line: ....Finally my eyes feel the emptiness and also feel the drop of tears at the edge now i don't see as much reason to mention the author's english. it is pretty good! thanks for sharing. and i don't care what your name is.
