I Miss You Mama Poem by Mutsawashe Museredza

I Miss You Mama

I miss you mama.
I try forget, try calm, comfort self,
But that have never been enough, to
allude to the fact that, you are no longer
With us.
You would visit, go for work, to help family make
ends meet, we would miss, your presence
even we knew you would be back.
They were wars, hidden you would fight
For us, not even to say,
You would chastise, rebuke, bless, teach, punish us
Who will selflessly do it, like you mama, mama's
love.As you walked through the valley of the shadow
Of death, never did l imagine loosing
You in that manner, uuum heavens l need a hug of comfort,
in this cruel world, with hearts filled with hatred, betrayal, deception.
malice
Who will train up my children, comfort, embrace them for your heart is irreplaceable.
Rest in peace Mama.
