I Much Preffered You When You Was Just A Mother - Poem by Not Long Left

' I much preffered you when you was just a mother'

I much preffered you when you was just a mother
Not some strangers new and exciting lover.
I much preffered you looking like a mum
now you wear enough make up to block out the sun.
I much preffered you when holding my hand late at night
now you kiss and giggle with him holding him so tight.
Despite what you say i hav not seen you smile for days
now you have fallen for Prince Charmings fickle ways.
Why look lovingly at him when you can me
I am losing you mother can you not see.

' I can still be your mother and someones lover'

Can I not be your mother and still someones lover
Do I not deserve a little happiness too
I can give him my love and save lots more for you
Your hands will always comfort me
pulling me out from the despairing sea
You will always be my number one, son
I will even forgive your for remark about
the make up blocking out the sun.
You are not losing me you never will.
Please son try to understand that I get lonely too
And no matter what happens I will always love you.
