I Must Tell Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I Must Tell

I just fell on ground
With no one around
To find me on floor
The window was open and door too

Whole day you remained
Before eyes and maintained
Lovely contact with simple urge
I too was restless to manage

She has penetrated a lot
My attention is always caught
Last night I dreamed
She had really stormed

Normally I don’t bother
And think about her
But this picture made it relevant
She was always present

I must tell her
How I wonder
What is in my mind?
She too may say it with kindness

Hani O, honey”?
Queen of unforgettable beauty
I fear and prefer not to speak
Will you think over and pick me up?
