never thought I would feel love,
the way I do today.
Tender, soft and precious,
in a new never felt before way.

I never thought that I could miss someone,
the way I have come to miss you;
Each time you walk out my front door,
my heart feels heavy and blue.

I never thought I would want to share,
my heart, my soul, my life;
I never thought I could find the perfect woman,
to be my best friend and wife.

I never thought I would find a woman,
who would want me as her man;
To share each and every quiet moment,
together holding hands.

There is alot of things I never thought of,
before the day we met;
One thing I know to be true,
being with you I have no regrets
