I thought we'd last forever
But you went away
I thought you'd leave me never
It will hurt when I recall today

We use to laugh
Sometimes we'd cry
But then you went and left
I still don't know why

My heart filled with sorrow
I cried from the pain
I thought you would stay
But you had to board that train

You never even wrote to me
Even though you said, you'd stay in touch
I really thought you cared for me
But I guess just not that much

I miss out times together
All the fun and laughter
You once told me you loved me
But I guess not for ever after
