I observe silence day
Not to speak with anybody in any way
You have to watch and only see
But not allowed to speak freely
This is one of the best weapons
Even enemy can be silently won
He may cross over with fatigue
As you offer no words even vague one
Even a single day in week
Observance many not make you weak
You just control the tongue
Silence means not to argue
Mr. Gandhi, the father of Indian nation
Observed it with fast and gave some indication
That he may speak not a word
And search the soul inwardly
This was his strong belief
It also provided some relief
With calmness in mind
He was able to think and find
You can concentrate
And positively relate
To the burning concern
And solve it in turn
It is unique style
Anybody can work on it for a while
It is part of meditation
Gives enough of strength and elation
