I pledge my life unto thine Word,
This vessel's thine,
The Maker's mine,
O Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God!
I pledge my life unto thine Word,
I need not fear,
My God is near,
The Son of God is Saviour Lord.

I pledge my life unto thine Word,
Your love made me,
And cares truly,
I want to live in sheer accord.
I pledge my life unto thine Word,
Let trials come,
And temptations,
I want to live,
Witness to Christ.
O Lord of justice, bless me first.

You suffered on the cross for me,
I am a sinner, Lord.
You bore the torture for all men
And shed your blood for all.
I don't deserve this kindness, Lord,
I pledge my life unto thine Word.
Into this clay,
You breathed that day,
And gave me precious life.
I am thine sheep, O Good Shepherd!
