From tiny tot, she gave each child a slot;
From baby boy/girl, reared us man/woman;
From harm, protected us and kept us warm;
From life's vices, kept us virtuous and wise;
She showed the world God made to every child;
She warned us to be wary of evils;
She taught us what love can really do;
She slogged for family, sacrificed her time;
Good mothers are such precious gifts from God;
Good moms are endearing until the last;
They love to see each child climb up life's hill;
They breathe their last seeing children well off!
‘Happy Mother's Day, dear momma! '
