I Thank You, God Poem by Dr John Celes

I thank You God for all You’ve done
Right from my inception till now;
I thank You for the many things
You’ve planned to do for my future.

I thank You for Your timely help
And miracles, You did for me;
I thank You for the many gifts
And talents You bestowed on me.

I thank You for my life on earth
And birth as Christian Catholic;
I thank You for protecting me
And keeping me safe until now.

I thank You for Your special love
And kindness that You’ve had for me;
Oh, how I wish I could return
Your love and care You’ve shown to me!

O help me live the way you want
And serve Thy creatures, my brethren;
Give me Your grace to do my role
Achieving my heavenly goal!

Almighty God and Lord, Most high!
Forgive my faults and blunders, sins;
I must keep my faith till I die;
Heavenly father, this is my wish!
