I Remember As A Child Poem by Ray Hansell

I Remember As A Child

Rating: 4.0

I remember as a child
Going to bed at night
How the full moon
Kept me awake with it's light

Will the problems in the world
Still exist when I get older
Or will the world find a way
To continue to grow colder

I listen to the evening news
Sometimes I get scared
It seems the more I hear
The less I believe people care

I remember as a child
Going to bed at night
Believing that come tomorrow
I would always see the morning light

A very sweet poem conveying childlike hope, in the midst of an uncertain world. : -)
